- Focus on Commercial Carpentry and Gypsum Systems
Seeking a construction estimator / project coordinator for commercial projects. Experience with Stack estimating software is helpful. The successful individual will demonstrate a good attention to detail, great technical skills the ability to create positive lasting relationships with colleagues and customers, and the ability to effectively manage projects from beginning to completion. This is an ideal position for a person that has a desire to be their own boss yet has the help and support of a team to ensure success.
Experience in the following beneficial to a qualified applicant:
- Blueprint reading
- Digital estimating / take off software experience
- Knowledge of commercial finishes including:
- Steel Studs
- Hollow metal doors, frames and hardware
- Casework / Store Fixtures
- Drywall hanging
- Acoustical ceilings
- Selective demolition
Responsibilities
- Identify projects for estimation and perform takeoffs using cloud based software
- Conduct detailed construction estimating to provide accurate cost assessments.
- Create proposals for projects and send to all prospective General Contractor bidders.
- Follow up with potential customers to get feedback regaring submitted proposals
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure favorable agreements.
- Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely completion of construction projects.
- Manage customer relationships and provide exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive business development initiatives.

Base pay is $40,000 annualy with an opportunity for commission draw against projects won. Total compensation averages over $100,000 per year, which is only limited by your desire to earn.
