Job Description
Steel Thread Software, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Project Manager who is looking to join a fast paced start up environment working with both commercial and Government clients.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for not only project leadership, but also providing input into the technical decision-making process.
• Support the Business Area Leader in meeting with customer to determine project requirements, generate project-staffing plan, support the Business Leader, and aid the Business Area Leader in acquiring the necessary resources required to fulfill the needs of the project.
• Develop task assignments for other project team members, keep the customer and Steel Thread management informed of project status on a regular basis, and anticipate cost and schedule problems and, working with the Business Area Leader, resolve them.
• Lead the conceptual design of the software system, schedule and conduct all customer meetings, provide Steel Thread's administrative staff with all necessary project cost information, and reconcile all charges against the contract.
• Facilitate and drive customers toward acceptance of Steel Thread Software Deliverables.
Skills:
• Experience managing Agile development teams of 10 team members.
• Hands on experience with SCM, ALM, Build and Deployment Automation and testing tools.
• Strong interpersonal with proven experience in meeting facilitation and conflict remediation.
• Development experience preferred.
• 5 years of requirements analysis and documentation preferable on a web-based product.
• Past experience managing all aspects of Project P&L.
Requirements:
• A related Bachelor’s Degree.
• 10 years of professional experience in an information technology, information management, or a related field.
