Machine Operator(B-shift)

Job Summary:

Operation of laser cutting equipment. Maintain safe work area and follow all safety guidelines/rules.

Essential Functions:

• Laser Machine Operation per specified production schedule.
• Forklift Operation
• Maintain high quality standards and ensure all parts are in conformance.
• Keep work area and clean and organized.
• Clean and maintain equipment per preventative maintenance schedule

Critical Skills/Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Forklift Certification

· Precision measurement, strong mathematical skills

· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Strong organizational skills; must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/assignments

· Demonstrated attention to detail with high requirement for accuracy

· Physical ability to stand, walk and lift 75 pounds

· Ability/willingness to work in non-climate controlled, manufacturing environment

Required to operate motorized equipment

B-Shift hours are as follows:

• Training period hours 6:00 am- 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday
• After training 6:00 am- 6:30 pm Friday-Sunday (36 hours)
• Shift differential will be $5.00/hr. when moved to B-Shift (6:00 am- 6:30 pm Friday-Sunday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
