As a Welder/Fabricator at our fabrication shop in Columbus, GA, you will be a great asset to our team.
What we’ll love about you:
Welding diploma or associate degree in technical science, or relevant training
Proven work experience as a Welder and Fabricator, or similar role
Ability to understand welding symbols, diagrams, and read blueprints
Familiar with the set up and operation of welding machines and other metal fabrication equipment
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
Must be safety conscious and adhere to safety processes and policies
Other qualifications may be required
What you’ll work on:
As a Welder/Fabricator at Steelcon, you will be responsible for fabricating products from raw resources, as well as joining steel structures or parts together with a great deal of precision, while meeting set production schedules.
Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:30pm | Friday: 7:00am to 4:00pm
Skills and experience in:
Fabricating, schematics, assembly instructions, dimensions and product specifications, production schedule, cutting lines, quality control standards, operate heavy machinery, good dexterity, attention to detail, organizational skills.
