This position is responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Performing routine tests in the medical laboratory
- Providing data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
- Ensuring patient comfort during specimen collection
- Preparing specimens for analysis and delivering to the proper work area
Additionally, this role involves:
- Conducting chemical analyses of body fluids
- Performing blood counts
- Conducting blood tests for transfusion purposes
- Receiving, analyzing, and resulting water testing
