Job Overview
The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in the healthcare team at STEELE MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER, evaluating and treating patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
Under the direction of a physician, the respiratory therapist assumes primary responsibility for all respiratory care, therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
- Provide therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures as prescribed by a physician
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient care plans
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program
- Acute care experience is preferred
