About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Phlebotomist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless laboratory and radiology procedure execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Reception and Registration: Manage patient check-in and registration processes for laboratory and radiology procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, test results, and other relevant data.
- Specimen Collection: Collect blood and other specimens from patients, including drug screens, paternity testing, and therapeutic phlebotomy.
- Phlebotomy: Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Pre-Analysis, Analysis, and Post-Analysis: Prepare and analyze blood and other specimens using specialized equipment and techniques.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Completed Phlebotomy Course (not required at hire but must be completed within 3-4 months of hire)
