What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Phlebotomist position at Steele Memorial Medical Center?
Responsible for patient reception and registration for laboratory and radiology procedures, record keeping, specimen collection (including drug screens, paternity testing and therapeutic phlebotomy), phlebotomy, pre-analysis, analysis, and post-analysis, of blood and other specimens.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Completed Phlebotomy course not required at hire but must be completed within 3-4 months of hire.
