- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of services
- Develop and maintain effective processes for tracking and analyzing utilization data
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least five years of relevant clinical nursing experience
- Recent experience as an inpatient utilization review nurse or UM coordinator preferred
