Steeler is seeking a full-time machinist for a busy manufacturing plant.
What You’ll Do
· Creating tools and dyes for production machines.
· Evaluating existing material and what should be retooled, sharpened or replaced.
What Makes You a Good Fit
· High School Diploma or GED
· Certification from a technical school in manufacturing and/or machining industry
· 2-5 years of manual tool and dye making or equivalent combination of the two
· 2 years of experience with a manual lathe machine and a manual mill machine
· Aptitude for basic math plus measurement calculations and ability to apply measuring tools to complete parts
· Experienced with a wide range of drill presses, surface grinders etc.
· Ability to machine parts from raw material to completion
