Job Description

Steeler is growing and in need of a reliable millwright.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Production team members to ensure proper function of production systems, address root cause, and complete large projects.
• Perform routine maintenance, including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, Hydraulic, and pneumatic inspections.
• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment including but not limited to pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and cranes.
• Monitor and maintain inventories of parts and supplies as needed to maintain equipment.
• Ensure that proper testing has been completed before returning equipment to production.
• Follow instructions, guidelines and procedures timely and accurately.
• Complete written records of work performed and events.
• Continually improve your knowledge and skills through teamwork, practice, and education.
• Safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools; any candidate must demonstrate experience with appropriate safety and PPE requirements for each job.

• Climb ladders, walk up and down steps and work at heights.

What You Bring

• Five (5) years’ experience in welding, fabrication, electrical and overall experience in maintaining industrial equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Fabrication experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
