What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher position at STEELVILLE ELEMENTARY?
Steelville elementary is seeking applicants for the 2025-26 school year.
Essential job duties:
- Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning
- Designs and implements lesson plans that are rigorous and aligned to the Missouri state standards and the districts’ priority standards
- Evaluates and progress monitors students’ progress on a regular basis.
- Communicates effectively with all stakeholders
- Active participant in the PLC process within the school
- Provide RTI intervention strategies
- Attends and participates in faculty meetings
- Adheres to all state and federal requirements within the IDEA and 504 plans
- Active participant in grade level planning meetings
