Job Summary:

Steelworx Industrial Group, LLC is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with specific expertise in mechanical systems, including process piping, and a commitment to excellence.

As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee project phases, build client relationships, ensure compliance, coordinate bid meetings, and maintain project documentation. Your knowledge of mechanical systems, millwright work, and project estimation will be crucial. Willingness to travel up to 75% and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee project phases from initiation to completion.
• Build strong client relationships to understand specific needs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and obtain necessary permits.
• Coordinate bid meetings and order materials, tools, and labor.
• Estimate for projects including negotiated and/or hard bids.
• Adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality control.
• Write and submit punch lists, track change orders, and submit RFIs.
• Document project progress using Procore Software Tools.
• Monitor project execution and collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in project management within the mechanical industry, including process piping.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, millwright work, and project estimation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety compliance standards.
• Proficient in project management software, preferably Procore.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relationship management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
