Job Summary :
SteerBridge Strategies is seeking a Construction Manager – Project Manager (CM-PM) to provide on-site support at the Memphis VA Medical Center for EHRM infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction management, quality assurance, and contractor oversight. This role requires a strong working knowledge of construction practices, scheduling, cost management, and compliance oversight. The CM-PM will be responsible for ensuring contractors meet project specifications, reviewing construction documents, and managing project timelines.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee facility construction projects from design to completion
Implement quality assurance, safety, time, cost, and information management plans
Perform inspections to ensure contractor compliance with project standards
Review project schedules and ensure timely delivery
Identify and address deficiencies in contractor work
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders for project success
Document scope changes and project updates to maintain alignment with contract requirements
Utilize construction software for data tracking and project management
Provide clear communication and detailed reports to project stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements : Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or 15 years of experience in lieu of degree)
Minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience
Experience with healthcare construction projects preferred
Strong knowledge of construction practices, scheduling, and cost control
Ability to read and interpret construction documents
Proficiency in construction management software
