POSITION OVERVIEW
SteerBridge seeks an Electrical Engineer (EE) to support construction and renovation efforts for the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Washington DC VA Medical Center.
The EE will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to the administration of construction, design / build, engineering and facilities management complex-construction projects. Services will include, but not limited to, pre-design phase services, design phase services, procurement phase services, construction services, claims services, administration services, and technical specialty services.
The EE shall possess a degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution of higher learning. The individual shall have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in both design and construction.
REQUIRED
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be eligible and able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (i.e., pass a federal background check), as well as complete the necessary processes to receive a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge.
LOCATION
All work will be located and completed at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, located at 50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422.
EDUCATION
Candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution of higher learning.
