We are hiring skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves performing advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic results.

Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Ensure accurate application of technical factors, including kvp, ma, time, and distance, while appropriately using automatic exposure control and imaging equipment.
- Patient Positioning: Properly position and immobilize patients to achieve high-quality images in accordance with Radiologist protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and adjust CT gantry angle mechanisms, table height, and imaging parameters for optimal exam performance.
- Patient Care: Safely transport, transfer, and position patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the procedure.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient data and images in HIS/RIS and PACS systems, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Contrast Administration: Start IVs and administer contrast media when necessary.
- Collaboration: Assist attending physicians during exams and perform SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) and AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) communication practices.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, infection control practices, and organizational policies to maintain a secure and effective work environment.
- Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology through ongoing education.
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT(R)(CT)).
- Completion of Samaritan’s CT modality orientation.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification (must be completed within three months of hire).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage physical tasks, including lifting patients and operating heavy equipment.
