SteerBridge s eeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (EE) to support Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) infrastructure upgrades for the Department of Veterans Affairs at Canandaigua VA Medical Center.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will have a strong background in electrical design, construction, and inspection. Specializes in low voltage projects, ensuring high-quality installations that meet industry standards and safety regulations. Skilled in overseeing complex electrical systems, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance for efficiency and reliability. A detail-oriented problem solver with a proven ability to lead projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive successful outcomes in fast-paced environments.
Required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be eligible and able to pass a federal background check.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience inspecting electrical construction.
- Must bring demonstrated experience with LOW VOLTAGE projects.
- Must provide at a minimum, three (3) examples of projects that reflect the same, similar, or exceed the scale and difficulty of the VAMC Construction Project.
