Position Overview
SteerBridge Strategies is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager (Senior Architect/Engineer) to provide support services for the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care Hospital. The selected candidate will serve as the owner’s representative, working closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and leading the contracted project support team to successfully execute the Government Procurement Office (GPO) goals and objectives. This role ensures project completion in compliance with contractual terms, local and federal regulations, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be eligible to pass a federal background check and complete the necessary steps to obtain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge.
Education & Experience

Must be a licensed professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering from an accredited institution.

Minimum 6 years of experience in both design and construction, with a primary focus on medical facility projects.

Ability to understand and apply local, state, and federal jurisdictional requirements related to healthcare facility construction.

Proficient in Construction Contract Documents, including End and Technical Specifications and Drawings.

Strong knowledge of building codes, budgeting, and scheduling to lead projects effectively.

Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage personnel with diverse skill sets.
Holding at least one of the following certifications/licenses:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- American Institute of Architects (AIA) Architecture License
