Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as required.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations throughout the facility.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
