Title: Logistics Specialist
Location: 2 T.W.Alexander Drive BOX 12014, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 United States
Work Schedule: M - F 8:00 - 5:00
Physical Distribution Specialist – RTP, NC
The Physical Distribution Specialist will provide support to the logistics team during the S4Hanna integration
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Strong SAP supply knowledge / support to 3PL warehouses and BASF warehouses
- RTP Logistics group mailbox coverage
- Facilitate master data article extensions for the distribution/deployment network
- Execute STO (Stock Transport Orders)
- CASS Freight bill Logistics Queue coverage
- Project support as needed
- Ad-hoc analysis requests
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Business Management, Engineering, or related experience is required (Note: Other disciplines would be considered with demonstrated successful Supply Chain experience.)
- 2-4 years' experience in manufacturing, customer service, sales, production planning role, SAP competency role or equivalent.
- Strong experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is mandatory
- Ability to conduct root cause problem solving.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills/attention to detail required.
- Advanced Excel skills (big data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP,etc.)
- Visualization creation experience a plus (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.59 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- SAP S/4HANA: 1 year (Preferred)
