Work Hours: Mon - Fri (40 hours)

Work Location: Davie, FL

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) up to 10 additional hours of overtime a week. May be asked to work on the weekends about 20%.

• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
• Has limited discretion to vary from established procedures

• Performs routine assignments in the entry level of the Professional Career Band
• Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
• Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
• Specializes in purified water systems operation and maintenance
• Familiar with PLC programming, automation, and AI technologies
• Perform automated equipment troubleshooting.
• Execute planned maintenance and corrective work orders.
• Support to equipment, utilities, and process troubleshooting / repairs.
• Responsible for multiple small projects related to new equipment, upgrades to existing equipment, facility modifications, and utility infrastructure.
• Perform technical documents, SOP updates, and change controls.
• Provides ongoing support to maintenance staff to solve complex problems, understand and coach failure modes, and prepare technical solutions on facility controls equipment.
• Will implement safe work practices and process controls to ensure a safe operation of equipment and facility. May include job hazard analysis, failure fault trees, and risk assessments to drive a preventable injury workplace and continuously safe process.
• Developed financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Conducted financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support business objectives.
• Evaluated business performance and identified opportunities for improvement.
• Provided ad-hoc analytical support for key initiatives, including sales, operations, and capital investment efforts.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automatization strategies.
• Created and executed plans to optimize and/or improve scheduling efficiencies to meet business operations onboard.
• Able to generate and review incident deviations and investigations (GMP and EHS environment).
  
  

Job Requirements

Details:

Core essential skill sets:

• Must have: Min 1 year experience in purified water systems operation and maintenance. This needs to be at a large facility more than 7 gallons per minute. purified water systems operation and maintenance. Examples of prior jobs: US Filters, Xylem Water Solutions, Culligan Water, RO Water, Evoqua Water, Di Water. Reverse osmosis, Wi-Fi water.
• Entry level engineer
• Experience in pharmaceutical GMP environment
• A plus - Experience in general utilities such as air handling units, compressed air, chillers, electrical, etc.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience or Associate Degree with 6 years' experience within pharmaceutical or related manufacturing facility or equivalent combination of years and experience.
• 1-3 years purified water systems operation and maintenance experience.
• Experience in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to track the scheduling and execution of maintenance activities.
• PLC experience or certification a plus
• GMP Compliance related documentation a plus
• Project management experience a plus.

• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot hardware and software used on purified water systems.
• Reading and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Management skills to lead a team of maintenance technicians and meet department goals and expectations.

• Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
• Exercises judgment within specifically defined practices and policies and selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Normally provides general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments to direct reports.
• May be asked to recommend methods and procedures for problem resolution.

• Perform activities such as operating machines (i.e. lathes and drill presses) where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach.
• Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, extensive reading, and visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection), using measurement devices and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at a distance close to the eyes.
• Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
  
  

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Constant exposure to moving mechanical parts and/or moving equipment.
• Frequent exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
• Frequent exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, and/or gasses.
• Frequent exposure to vibrations.
• Occasional exposure to wetness depends on assigned process.
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed for assigned process (i.e., safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
• Main brands we work with include Allen-Bradley and Siemens suites.
