We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and develop ETL jobs for loading data into the data warehouse. You will also be working on optimizing operations to increase the use of automation to help improve the quality and reliability of the data transactions and interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for an end-to-end solution for Data Integration to Data Acquisition to Data Warehousing, collaborating with the software engineers and business partners on the requirements and design of the ETL jobs.
- Developing, testing, and implementing the ETL jobs and the pipelines for data management.
- Perform tuning of the ETL jobs as needed. Provide support for application performance issues.
- Responsible to understand the logic in DataStage on premise ETL jobs and implement them in informatica using APIs and GCP Cloud SQL.
- Responsible for converting data into informational insights thus helping the organization to make data-driven decisions. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.

Experience Required
- 5 years of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Solution (IICS) experience, optimizing data flow into data warehousing systems, Shell Scripting, GCP PostgreSQL.
- Designed and implemented a data warehouse solution using Google Cloud data engineering tools, implemented automated CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Udeploy.
- DataStage IBM Infosphere, SQL, Python, GCP BigQuery, Data Looker, Astronomer
- Expertise in conceptualizing and creating pipelines for data Integration and cloud migration initiatives.
- Experience in data migration and synchronization across multiple production instances.
- Knowledge and working experience with interpreting and implementing security and controls at the application and data level, preferably for a SOX application.
- Exposure in overall delivery cycle including requirement gathering, development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, production support.
- Flexible working across the teams and adapting to learning new methodologies & technologies.
- Experience with Data Masking tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills including leading problem-solving teams.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
