Job Title: Marketing Analyst
Location: 4879 State St Riverdale, IA 52722
Primary Purpose Of The Job
- Team member to support our Global Rolled Products Business Unit. As a Senior Marketing Analyst, you will work with Sales, Marketing and Inside Sales to execute on the marketing strategies and initiatives to profitably expand the Aerospace & Defense business in North America and Europe.
Major activities/Key challenges
- Managing the pricing and price authorization for quotes and contracts for Aerospace & Defense products.
- Support the Aerospace & Defense Marketing Manager in financial analysis of customer products and contracts, as well as supporting setup of customer price grids.
- Performs market and competitor analysis and business case analysis which result in recommendations on strategic commercial actions
- Coordinates the implementation of regional communication and branding activities and tools according to approved plan and budget.
- Contribute to process improvement on the RFQ to Order process by identifying and implementing changes to existing processes with Marketing and Inside Sales teams at each of our mills.
- Become the subject matter expert for the Marketing team on the Inside Sales and Manufacturing processes at mills to provide valuable insight to marketing decisions.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing or finance.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer related function.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Major Customers
- Aerospace & Defense Commercial Teams: (Inside Sales, Account Managers, Marketing Partners, Aerospace & Defense Sales Managers)
- Aerospace & Defense Commercial Customers (OEMs, Distributors & Defense)
Education:
- HS Diploma or Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
