Oracle Project Manager

Position: Project Manager (Oracle Data Extraction-ODE)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee critical Finance reporting projects, with a specific focus on utilizing Oracle Data Extraction (ODE) Extract files.
• This role requires a deep understanding of financial reporting processes, data analysis, and project management methodologies.

Project Management:

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee all project phases, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.

ODE Extract File Expertise:

• Gain a thorough understanding of ODE extract file structures, data formats, and extraction processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to schedule and execute data extractions, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Troubleshoot data extraction issues and work with technical teams to resolve problems efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in MIS (Management Information Systems or related field.
• 5 years experience in project management, with a strong focus on financial reporting projects.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting principles and practices.
• Expert proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) with 5 or more years.
• 5 years experience with Oracle Data Extraction (ODE) extract files is essential.
• Formal education in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration
