Title: Product Design Engineer (Automotive / Automobile)
Location: Jamestown, NC
Long Term Contract
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and optimizing cooling system components and sub-components for Powertrain Thermal Integration (PTI) related to internal combustion engines.
- Developing and refining exhaust system components and sub-components for PTI applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that new designs meet business objectives and adhere to Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature benchmarks.
- Proactively addressing potential design challenges by front-loading tasks to guarantee robust early-stage project releases and stability in later stages.
- Managing the release process for components to resolve maintenance issues and support successful project timelines.
- Assisting in the development of modular systems and components aimed at reducing part complexity and enhancing overall design efficiency.
