EDUCATION

Basic: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred: Associate's Degree

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with JD Edwards, query software, Excel, and Outlook email.
• Answering emails.
• Data Entry.
  
  

DEPARTMENT & TEAM BACKGROUND

• Under the direction of the Master Planner.
• Will collaborate with two other planners and an inventory specialist to prepare schedules and production paperwork.
  
  

MUST-HAVES ON A RESUME

• Proficiency in JD Edwards and Excel.
• Previous production planning experience.
  
  

DISQUALIFIERS

• Lack of working knowledge of Excel.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

• On-site interview with the PC Manager and HR Representative.
  
  

TYPICAL DAY IN THE ROLE

• Half-day or more working on a computer.
• Delivering paperwork to the production floor.
• Assisting the inventory specialist or crib coordinator as needed, especially for data entry.
  
  

EXPECTATIONS, STANDARDS, AND PRODUCTIVITY METRICS

• Good attendance.
• Attentiveness and willingness to be trained as needed.
• Adaptability to cover additional tasks as the department is down two people (out of seven).
  
  

EXTENSION POTENTIAL

• There is potential for the role to be extended, depending on the duration of medical leave for the absent employees.
  
  

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

• No minimum required, but must have a working knowledge of Excel and the ability to perform data entry and work in a production environment.
  
  

PERSONALITY/CULTURAL FIT

• Standard office environment.
  
  

WORK ARRANGEMENT

• 100% on-site.
• A company computer will be provided and used daily but must remain at the facility.
  
  

WORK HOURS

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch).
• Total of 40 hours per week.
