Job Overview:
The Steffens Insurance Group is a leading provider of commercial insurance solutions, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Management Professional - Commercial Lines to join our team. As a key member of our commercial division, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, policy changes, and claims follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions and policy administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their commercial insurance needs, providing prompt and courteous assistance and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and policy retention, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Prepare and process insurance quotes, applications, and endorsements for new and existing clients, reviewing policies for accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Work closely with underwriters, brokers, and other team members to provide solutions tailored to client needs, staying up-to-date on insurance market trends and regulatory changes.
- Utilize insurance management software and other technologies to manage accounts, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- P&C License in Wisconsin (must be current and in good standing).
- 1 years of commercial insurance experience with a focus on account management and servicing.
- Proven strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in technology and able to quickly adapt to new software systems (experience with insurance management software is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
