JOB TITLE: Strategic Sourcing Director
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time, Exempt
LOCATION (Hybrid or Remote): Employee's Home Office with quarterly travel to the Stego Home Office in San Clemente, CA (preference for candidates located within 70 miles of San Clemente, CA)
HOURS & TIME ZONE: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm local time (Pacific Time Zone preferred)
PAY RANGE: Reasonably expected to be $140,000 - $180,000 USD annually based on experience, education, and location.

ROLE PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Strategic Sourcing Director role is to lead Stego's Sourcing Subdivision. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, onboarding and managing supplier relationships, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance and help drive innovation in contribution to the achievement of the Company's vision, goals, and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES):
- GOALS & OBJECTIVES:
- Meaningfully engage in strategic planning and Company-wide goal identification and achievement in collaboration with Ownership, President, Vice Presidents, and others on the Company leadership team
- Create Sourcing Subdivision goals and objectives in consultation in collaboration with the Division's Vice President and other Vendor Relations Team members
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve Company and Sourcing Subdivision goals
- Ensure internal cross-collaboration and utilization of Company resources to achieve shared objectives
- Make data-driven decisions through KPIs/BI tools in the performance evaluation and management of the department in collaboration with the VP of Marketing & Development and other supply chain leaders
- SOURCING:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet company goals related to cost savings, supplier performance, supply chain security, and innovation
- Determine monthly, quarterly, and annual production forecasting in conjunction with cross-functional team
- Responsible for actively managing and optimizing supply and inventory against demand, including the use and maintenance of buffer stock
- Negotiate pricing, terms, MOQs, discounts, rebates, and all major components of Supply Agreements, as necessary
- Responsible for reporting to Vice President of Marketing & Development and the Leadership Team on strategic considerations
- Manage supplier relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring compliance with company standards
- Implement new processes and systems for sourcing optimization and risk management
- COMPANY CULTURE:
- Build strong working relationships and collaborate with other Company, Division and Subdivision leaders
- Participate in interviewing new employees in the Sourcing Subdivision (and other Subdivisions, as appropriate)
- Ensure effective hiring and training of all future Sourcing Subdivision team members

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus
- 5 years of sourcing experience (required)
- 5 years of management experience (preferred)
- Proficient in report development (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Trello, Salesforce, and Supply Chain software (strongly preferred)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed in an office environment
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
- Ability to travel to and attend meetings, including nights and overnight stays (approximately 20% of the time)
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time for supplier visits and company events, including international travel
