Sommelier
Assists guests in the selection of beverages to accompany food choices, while enhancing the dining experience and promoting sales. Organizes and manages all aspects of the beverage program including selection of wines, beer, and spirits; cocktail development; staff training; inventory control; and revenue generation.
Works with the other Food and Beverage Managers and helps oversee and lead the Food and Beverage team in all daily operational duties. In addition, this position assists in the overall management of the Front of House F&B operations.
Other responsibilities:
- Develop active knowledge of food and beverage products served in the outlets
- Actively supervise and assist with the greeting of food and beverage guests.
- Maintain POS system by keeping database current and organized.
- Supervise the cleanliness of all areas related to the outlet.
- Oversee all employees in the restaurant during a given shift
