Our client, a leading manufacturer in the hardwood, plywood, and veneer industry, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the future IT landscape of their organization. This role is pivotal in driving business transformation by architecting robust, scalable, and integrated solutions across ERP, enterprise business systems, and data platforms.
Job Summary :
As an Enterprise Architect, you will lead technology strategy and enterprise architecture initiatives, ensuring that IT investments align with business objectives, optimize data-driven decision-making, and improve operational efficiencies. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to design and implement next-generation systems, ensuring seamless integration between ERP, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Technology Strategy & Architecture :
Develop and drive the strategic vision for ERP, business systems, and data platforms to support business transformation goals.
Own the overall architecture of implemented solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Lead architecture discussions on system integration, API strategy, data platforms, analytics, and reporting.
Oversee solution design, including functional enhancements, data governance, and security best practices.
Collaboration & Influence :
Communicate technical solutions, challenges, and benefits effectively to executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure effective implementation and adoption of technology solutions.
Drive process optimization through technology, participating in continuous improvement initiatives and lean methodologies.
Governance & Compliance :
Evaluate proposed scopes and solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives and industry best practices.
Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory, security, and operational compliance standards.
People Management :
Lead and mentor a diverse team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to promote knowledge-sharing and technical excellence.
Manage performance expectations, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
7 years of IT industry experience, preferably within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
5 years in an enterprise, solution, or data architecture role, with expertise in ERP and business system implementations.
Proven experience designing and deploying ERP / CRM systems.
Strong business acumen in Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Maintenance Management Systems.
Experience with cloud-based ERP deployments, data lakes, AI / ML-driven analytics, and automation solutions.
Project management expertise, with experience leading enterprise-level transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI / CD, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong knowledge of enterprise integration frameworks (APIs, middleware, ETL, event-driven architectures).
Deep understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and analytics platforms.
Hands-on experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
