Job Title: Network Technician
Location: Onsite; Golden, CO
Estimated Duration: 04/28/2025 – 06/30/2027

Position Overview:
ThIs client is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to proactively monitor and respond to issues related to the ITS fiber network, roadside devices, and software applications. This role also includes collaboration with construction project teams and providing Tier 1 technical support.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and motivated to work in a fast-paced IT environment. This position acts as the first point of contact for users requiring technical support and assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor ITS fiber network, roadside devices, and related software applications.

• Manage help desk tickets in a timely and organized manner.

• Respond to customer issues via phone, email, and chat.

• Document and track all customer interactions and resolutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.

• Escalate unresolved issues to the next support tier.

• Perform installations, updates, and repairs on computer systems.

• Provide technical support for PC software and Tier 1 networking.

• Assist with onboarding/offboarding users.

• Maintain uptime and system integrity for end-user computing environments.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a help desk or technical support environment.

• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and iOS operating systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and troubleshoot effectively.

• Self-motivated, independent, and reliable.

• Basic understanding of information security practices.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems (ManageEngine experience is a plus).

• Flexible to work varied shifts with minimal notice.

• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
