Project Engineer - Mechanical
Responsible for the implementation of projects, achieving the scope, budget and performance defined in the Scope for Mechanical Engineering activities as review basic and detail engineering, drawings, material list, preparation of specifications to contract services and purchase, planning, support and supervise site installation and erection activities, follow up engineering and construction contractors.
The main responsibilities for the position are :
Develop basic and detail designs, including calculation, material specification,
selection, drawings, and material lists.
Support for site installation and erection activities.
Participate actively in the Engineering tasks.
Plan and Follow-up the Mechanical Engineering activities.
Prepare and follow-up budget for projects.
Develop technical studies of feasibility for capital investment.
Coordinate the projects implementation.
Lead project implementation teams under own responsibility.
Guarantee that the budget, schedule, quality, and scope goals are met.
Guarantee that the investment is implemented according to the Safety and
Environmental requirements.
Guarantee the performance of the implemented investment.
Required :
BS Mechanical Engineering
KNOWLEDGE :
Knowledge of Mechanical processes / systems for industrial plants.
Experience in design mechanical processes / systems, specification, selection and design of
material and equipment, and support the construction and installation
process, in Industrial Plants.
Knowledge of IT tools used in Engineering, as AutoCAD, Office, design Software
Knowledge of the steel-making process is a plus.
Solid knowledge of Project Management.
Experience in contract management
8 to 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial projects.
