Steingold’s Bakehouse is the heart of our bagel and wholesale baking operation, supplying Steingold’s restaurants and Wholesale accounts with high-quality, scratch-made bagels and baked goods. We are looking for a dedicated Overnight Lead to oversee a stage of our bagel production process and ensure consistency and quality in every batch.

As the Overnight Lead, you will manage the boil and bake team, ensuring smooth overnight operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining quality control, monitoring key production metrics, and leading a small team to produce top-tier bagels that meet Steingold’s high standards.

• Lead and oversee the overnight boil and bake team, ensuring efficient production.
• Monitor and record critical data points throughout the shift.
• Make real-time adjustments to baking variables to maintain consistency.
• Communicate with the dough production team to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Train and oversee staff to maintain high production standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production or equipment issues during the shift.
• Maintain clear communication with management and the day-shift teams.

• Experience in bagel baking or bread production preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team overnight.
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistency in production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
