Position: Receptionist /Accounting Clerk
Reports to: Controller
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Type: Non-exempt
Summary: Performs receptionist duties and accounts payables practices in accordance with company and established accounting policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Share receptionist duties with the Operation Coordinator
Opening and distributing mail
Answering phones and greeting guests
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, home office, and remote location staffs.
File management (including year-end file changeover)
Accounts payable data entry, scanning and filing.
Retrieve all required invoices and support for specified vendors.
Process all business cards for new employees
Maintain and supply all stores with deposit books and bags.
Maintain and respond to emails in the account payable inbox.
Assist with the Accounts Payable Associates with business insurance certificates.
Maintain, track, and submit vendor vouchers and invoices.
Maintain and complete all sales tax exemption review.
Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls.
Provide backup services for other Accounts Payable Associates as needed to include lunch breaks, out of office requirements, sick days, and vacation days.
Other duties as assigned
Employment Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Proficient with math and problem solving skills.
Detail-oriented and accurate.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize work load and manage change.
Must possess the ability to interact professionally with many levels within the organization.
Prefer some experience with inventory transaction and controls.
