Job Summary
The Site Director plays a crucial role in overseeing all operations at the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. This position requires a strong leader who can manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Site Director will be responsible for coordinating construction activities, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.

Duties

  • Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Implement and enforce compliance management practices in line with OSHA, NEC, and EHS standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety practices and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage risk by identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop construction management plans using relevant software.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide training and support to staff on occupational health standards and safety protocols.
  • Able to fill out Pre-Task

Experience

  • Proven experience of 1 year in construction management or a related field is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance management principles, including OSHA regulations and NEC codes.
  • Familiarity with EHS practices and risk management strategies in a construction environment.
  • Experience using construction management software to track project progress and resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • A background in occupational health is preferred but not mandatory.

  • 10 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Kokomo, IN 46901: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
