Job Summary
The Site Director plays a crucial role in overseeing all operations at the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Duties
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Implement and enforce compliance management practices in line with OSHA, NEC, and EHS standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety practices and ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage risk by identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop construction management plans using relevant software.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents, and compliance documentation.
- Provide training and support to staff on occupational health standards and safety protocols.
- Able to fill out Pre-Task
Experience
- Proven experience of 1 year in construction management or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of compliance management principles, including OSHA regulations and NEC codes.
- Familiarity with EHS practices and risk management strategies in a construction environment.
- Experience using construction management software to track project progress and resources effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- A background in occupational health is preferred but not mandatory.
