Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring the use of safe work practices by helping employees in accordance with the company safety rules and following company policies and procedures.
• Understand and know how to set up and operate all equipment for the department
• Ensure proper use of machine operations
• Complete necessary paperwork pertaining to the line
• Monitor and meet established quality standards.
• Follow Supervisors’ instructions, if needed delegate tasks and follow up with the assignments
• Mark and control workflow, monitoring employee pace and correct any adverse situations in a professional manner.
• Communicate with the staff professionally and promote teamwork, be impartial and show appreciation for work of employees.
• Meet all standard operating procedures
• Will fill in on the line as needed
• Required to gain working knowledge of other areas.
• Follows and enforces all products/human safety policies/procedures
• Trains/enforces GMP’s and other company policies/procedures

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Required to work overtime as needed including weekends and possibly holidays.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must have very good organizational skills, keeping track of all product lot numbers in inventory.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must keep track of all product lot numbers in inventory.
• Ability to delegate to workload to complete tasks. Must be very accurate on all information transferred on to job cards at the end of the Shift.
