We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team. The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for assisting the payroll department with various tasks related to processing payroll for our employees accurately and efficiently. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Assist with processing weekly or bi-weekly payroll for employees
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of payroll information
- Verify timesheets, overtime, deductions, and other payroll related information
- Address payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with payroll tax calculations and withholdings
- Generate payroll reports for management review
- Maintain payroll records and employee information in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Assist with year-end payroll activities and reporting
- 2 years of experience in payroll processing or related field
- Proficient in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
