Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Division Manager to join our team at Stella Environmental Services LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Transfer Station operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Transfer Station, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise all Transfer Station operators, independent contractors, laborers, and other assigned personnel.
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the Transfer Station and its facilities to identify potential hazards and implement necessary safety measures.
- Investigate and document any incidents or accidents occurring at the Transfer Station.
- Provide training and development opportunities to personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement business plans and objectives.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the waste management industry.
- Proven track record of leadership and management, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Ability to lift 75lbs and maintain effective audio and visual perception necessary for performing job duties.
