Position Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Division Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Transfer Station in Omaha. This leadership role is responsible for managing personnel, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining equipment, and driving a culture of safety and accountability. If you’re a hands-on leader with experience in heavy equipment operations and team management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, and direct all Transfer Station personnel, including operators, laborers, and contractors.
Maintain strong communication with the General Manager, providing regular updates on operational performance.
Ensure daily operations—including equipment usage and transfer trailer coordination—are executed safely and efficiently.
Monitor cleanliness and safety of the Transfer Station; enforce housekeeping standards.
Identify and oversee maintenance needs and coordinate necessary repairs to equipment and facilities.
Investigate and document all accidents and property damage incidents; report findings and take corrective actions.
Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Fill in for team members as needed and respond to emergency or after-hours calls.
Accurately complete and submit reports, forms, and related documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams across multiple functions.
Knowledge of mechanical operations, maintenance, and minor repairs of diesel and heavy equipment.
Experience in operating or supervising the use of heavy equipment (preferred).
Effective written and verbal communication across all levels of an organization.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an active, physical environment.
Visual and auditory capabilities to safely perform job duties.
