Healthcare Recruiter-Nursing
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The main function of this position is to recruit for all in-house nursing positions and manage the recruitment process.
- Manages the recruitment process by developing recruitment and retention strategies for clinical positions. This includes advertising for open positions, and maintaining job boards/social media presence.
- This position also screens candidate resumes, schedules interviews, and coordinates with managers to determine best candidates for position.
- Assist internal applicants with transfer requests and promotions.
- Work closely with the Staffing department to hire for shifts/schedules that align with the needs of the organization
- Coordinates on-boarding of newly hired employees, including performing drug screenings, background checks, and reference checks
- Ensures job descriptions/postings are correct and updated as needed
- With the direction and oversight of the HR Director and team members coordinates recruiting outreach to include events, marketing, and contacting passive applicants.
- Generate recruiting metrics and make suggestions based on data
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree or higher.
- Experience in healthcare required.
- Prior experience in recruitment required.
- Experience utilizing HRIS and ATS programs.
