Summary The Physician Assistant will work under Dr. Maheshwari's guidance within the Institute for Digestive Health and Liver Disease, managing all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and education. This role includes independently running outpatient clinics and requires willingness to travel to off-site locations. Requirements Must be the graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program with Board certification or eligibility. Two years of experience as a practicing PA preferred Gastroenterology or Hepatology or Transplant experience is desirable, but not required. Must possess Current State Licensure. Must obtain CPR Certification within six (6) months of hire. Must possess skills in the use of various computers and software programs. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
