Back of House Team Member

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting menu planning. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Handle food items with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, equipment, and workstations.
- Support catering operations by preparing food items for events as needed.
- Utilize culinary skills effectively, including knife skills for efficient food preparation.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely service and high-quality dishes.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
