Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Retail Loan Processing is responsible for overseeing all Stellantis Financial Loan Processing operations which include Retail, Direct & Business Lending. They manage the Regional Funding Manager(s), daily funding operations, ensuring there is adequate staff with necessary tools, and department training needs. Handles conflict as it relates to internal customers, and dealers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the achievement of all funding objectives including volume, turn time, portfolio performance, legal and procedural compliance.
- Manage Stellantis loan processing production, work quality and service levels.
- Evaluate performance versus established metrics and identify operational deficiencies and implement plans to improve operational effectiveness.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with Credit, Direct and Retail Product Managers, Marketing teams, and leadership to ensure alignment and accuracy in information sharing.
- Provide leadership, support, and motivation to funding teams.
- Review exception deals and make decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop, coordinate, and support training activities and staff development in accordance with SFS policies.
- Implement and monitor necessary reports to ensure production and quality goals are achieved.
- Maintain confidentiality with regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities Perform the above-referenced essential duties and responsibilities as well as assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the department by leading and overseeing their day-to-day activities and work schedules and by providing work-related guidance to Retail Loan Processing team in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. Although this position shall provide the authority to lead, oversee and direct the day-to-day work of assigned employees and to report work assessments to management, it shall not provide the authority to take the following actions: hire an employee, fire an employee, promote, or demote an employee, discipline an employee in a formal manner, reassign an employee, or alter benefits of an employee. All such decisions shall be made by the responsible senior manager(s) in consultation with the Human Resources Department.

Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of auto finance industry experience as a Loan Processing Manager, Credit Manager, or in a similar position.
Education:
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED).

- In-depth knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
- Efficient analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
