Position Summary :
The Team Manager Titles will be responsible for assisting with managing the title functions to ensure the efficient use of company resources and technical capabilities to achieve targeted performance standards while remaining in compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Handles daily managerial administrative tasks and provides functional training, customer resolution and employee feedback daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate activities and all processes involved with titling functions up to & including title follow-up, vehicle title releases, repossession titles, title maintenance and paper title requests.
- Act as a liaison between Dealer Track (FDI) Collateral Management, Custodian Bank and SFS to ensure all post title issues are resolved.
- Assist with maintaining quality control of the titling processes according to established policies and procedures.
- Review title reports regularly to ensure timely and thorough follow up and recommend additional activity when warranted.
- Ensure department statistics and service levels are maintained for the various titling processes.
- Assist in all areas with the handling of more difficult title issues or questions.
- Assist Associate Director, Director and Managing Director as needed with projects, tasks, and follow-up.
- Assist in Identifying training needs and makes recommendations to management and executive levels as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality with regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities Perform the above-referenced essential duties and responsibilities as well as assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the department by leading and overseeing their day-to-day activities and work schedules and by providing work-related guidance to Titles team in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. Although this position shall provide the authority to lead, oversee and direct the day-to-day work of assigned employees and to report work assessments to management, it shall not provide the authority to take the following actions : hire an employee, fire an employee, promote, or demote an employee, discipline an employee in a formal manner, reassign an employee, or alter benefits of an employee. All such decisions shall be made by the responsible senior manager(s) in consultation with the Human Resources Department.
