Position Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Procurement to manage and provide strategic leadership of procurement activities, align procurement strategies and initiatives with company goals, and promote innovation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. This role will report directly to the Managing Director, Procurement and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the compliance of policies and procedures, build vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and integration with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Ensure internal policies for procurement and contracting are aligned with Stellantis NV policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and pricing that optimize value, quality, and availability of products within each category.
- Evaluate new and manage existing relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, as well as current market conditions to make informed decisions and enhance procurement strategies.
- Set strategy and operational objectives inline with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance requirements and compliance with company policies and procedures are consistently followed with all procurement activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and enhance efficiency to achieve cost savings goals while supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Required Experience:
- Twelve (12) years minimum of proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract negotiation.
- 7 years as a functional manager
- Eight (8) years minimum experience in a leadership or managerial role with direct reports.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Skills Required:
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices and industry trends, supply chain management, and vendor management.
- Strong commitment to supporting organization's goals, values, company policies and procedures, and compliance guidelines.
- Adaptable to change with the ability to effectively thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Detail oriented and capable of accurately identifying, analyzing, preventing, and solving problems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and ethics, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to manage challenging conversations to resolve stakeholder needs promptly.
- Successful at soliciting feedback to promote and improve service and quality.
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred!
- Experience in supply chain management particularly with respect to technology procurement.

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
