Position Summary:
The Originations QA (Quality Assurance) Test Analyst will be responsible for creating acceptance criteria, test cases, and testing to ensure that the Originations software meets criteria. Responsible for assessing the functionality of Originations systems, testing new configuration, and looking for bugs and defects.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Triage new requests through the intake process assuring high level business requirements are complete.
- Develop test plans and acceptance criteria for all assigned projects, initiatives, or production defects.
- Identify appropriate functions and processes to test and validate system configuration and integration.
- Conduct tests to ensure software performs according to user requirements, company policies and established guidelines.
- Analyze general function, accuracy, reliability, and validity of results in compliance with industry and business standards.
- Communicate, document, and evaluate test results.
- Identify and track defects, log, and report program bugs and glitches; troubleshoot errors.
- Document test scripts in QA tracking database and execute according to procedure.
- Follow SOP and change control process established for consistency and reporting purposes.
- Document all test results for sign off and approval prior to deployment into production.
- Collaborate with the configuration and originations teams to understand and plan testing for planned system changes and production defects included in the assigned Sprint.

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in auto finance industry in specific to Credit and Funding.
Education:
- High school diploma and or/GED.
Skills Required:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with loan origination systems, DealerTrack, RouteOne, Shaw (or equivalent servicing system).
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Education – Bachelors degree in business/information technology from four-year College or University.
- Experience – Test Rail.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiar with using project management tracking and reporting software.
- Overtime required – N/A.
- Travel 0-10% - as required.
- Must live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
