The individual will assist in both the inbound logistics and finished vehicle Carrier Development areas. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
The individual will assist in both the inbound logistics and finished vehicle Carrier Development areas. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage inbound POD’s so they are performed timely via our 3rd party provider.
- Perform EDI testing and troubleshooting with finished vehicle providers
- Security administrator for all internal and external system requests
- Perform annual security audits of system access
- Create and update all online carrier training classes (using Articulate software)
- Manage department SharePoint sites and documentation
- Work any finished vehicle payment reconciliation with assigned carriers
- Send out weekly reports as required
- Perform carrier onboarding and system setup
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant bachelor’s degree
- 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or similar functions
- Cross-functional experience in supply chain management disciplines
- Extremely organized, purpose driven, autonomous and detail oriented
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Master’s degree Supply Chain Management
- Plant systems experience
- Logistics experience in either inbound parts or finished vehicles
- Prior experience interacting with multi-disciplinary and operational teams
- Prior automotive experience
- Production control experience
- Data analytics experience working with PowerBI or Qliksense tools
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in global multi-cultural environments
