As a Powertrain NVH Developer (Engineer), Responsibilities Include
- Lead the Noise & Vibration Attribute Development of all New BEV, HEV, and ICE Propulsion Systems
- Set Noise and Vibration targets for new systems
- Execute detailed root cause analysis testing for new Powertrain Technologies
- Publish clear concise conclusions, recommendations, and next steps to close gaps to target
- Publish Globally Harmonized Laboratory Procedures documenting best practices
- Socialize corrective actions to close gaps to target into Vehicle hardware and software
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related degree field
- 2 or more years of vehicle development and/or NVH engineering experience
- Experience in developing new Propulsion Systems to meet noise and vibration goals
- Experience using test techniques including sound and vibration measurements
- Knowledge of Vehicle and Propulsion System Operation
- Understanding of digital signal processing and sound/vibration quality metrics
- Knowledgeable in CAD, CATIA, INCA, and/or Teamcenter
- Working knowledge of NVH analysis Software (e.g. LMS, Head Acoustics, B&K)
- Must be organized, motivated, adept with engineering practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate effectively with other team members
- Master of Science degree in Engineering
- Electrified Vehicle Knowledge / Design / Development / Calibration experience
