The Temporary Transmission Garage Mechanic will be expected to perform the following duties:
- R&R of automotive transmissions and other vehicle components
- Installation of instrumentation.
- Light fabrication
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Take training as directed.
- Support Coworkers as needed.
- Maintain skill set in line with product development and engineering needs.
- Enter required administrative tracking of program information, hours worked, lost time etc.
- Good work management skills.
- Good communicator.
- Has proven mechanical skills.
- Has computer skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Able to support overtime as needed.
- Has standard mechanics tools and a lockable toolbox.
- Knowledge of automotive hardware.
- Vehicle system accreditations.
- High organizational and planning skills.
- Has dealership or other vehicle garage experience
- Good fabrication skills.
- Very effective communicator.
