As a DSP/Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting and assisting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our communities while participating in fun activities. Our DSP/Mentors are instrumental in helping individuals develop new life skills and achieve their unique personal goals. You'll be an invaluable member of their team and ours! While developing fun and healthy relationships with people from all walks of life, you will provide transportation to and from activities, ensure community safety, and provide companionship and support. You'll also have the opportunity to teach life skills, assist with self-care and personal care, and work towards helping individuals achieve their personal goals.

Job types: Flexible schedule with the possibility for full-time work. Days, evenings, and weekends available.
Schedule: This position has flexible hours and requires that you work well independently.
Compensation: $18.50 with mileage reimbursement.

Applicants Must:
- Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have a good driving record (defined as no more than two moving violations within the past three years)
- Have a safe and reliable vehicle
- Be willing to transport individuals in your personal vehicle.
- Carry appropriate vehicle insurance
- Be able to work independently and in cooperation with others
- Be able to lift and transfer 50-75 lbs
- One year of working with or advocating for individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
